The LCTE86MHF excels as the outside rod in rod holders when shorter inside rods are also being used in your trolling spread. This rod was designed to feel the lures vibration with 250 feet of leadline out! Yet loads very well when trolled with less line. Also loads very well after strike. Rod length 8'6'' extended and 7'0'' collapsed.
