Our goal at Limit Creek is to provide extremely sensitive, high quality fishing rods that are innovative and dependable, while being affordable. We are based in Hudson, Wisconsin, a river town on the banks of the St. Croix.
Our designs are born from river fishing, where an angler in a jon boat or canoe needs practical all purpose rods to save space. On the other end of the spectrum, our designs are also specialized, tooled to fit a heavy horsepowered tournament angler's specific needs.

Each Limit Creek rod model is designed to have the perfect balance between a rods power and action. Powered for solid hook sets, and designed with an action sensitive though soft enough to keep the hook held firmly in the fish's mouth. This fundamental characteristic design of balance ensures you will feel your bite, drive the hook home, and instills confidence when fighting the fish of a lifetime.

Charles “Turk” Gierke created Limit Creek Rods and operates Croixsippi Fishing Guide Service. He’s a longtime “river rat" raised in Stillwater, Minnesota. He has professionally guided for 14 years, taken first place in seven St. Croix River walleye tournaments, and demands quality and optimum performance in fishing rods.
